An Ninh Thu Do (Capital Security) newspaper reported that 12 fire trucks along with dozens of fire and rescue crews responded to the scene at around midnight to find smoke and light from the blaze filling the night sky.

Local firefighters said materials in the warehouse were easy to catch fire and burn. The warehouse contained machinery components and new electric bicycles. The cause of the blaze remained under investigation.
