PM Phuc arrived in Nanning city, China’s Guangxi province, at noon of September 10 to attend 13th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS). 

He joined the inauguration of the pavilion of Vietnam and visited some pavilions of other countries. 

Vietnam - the expo’s honorary country and the host country – China co-chair several activities to mark the 25th anniversary of ASEAN-China.

 On September 10 , PM Phuc met Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli. 

Vietnam pursues an unwavering external policy of peace, independence, multilateralisation and diversification, with strengthening the friendship and cooperation with China being one of the leading priorities, Mr Phuc underscored.

He met Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Peng Qinghua the same day.

On September 11, PM Phuc, Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli and other ASEAN leaders attended the opening ceremony of CAEXPO and the CABIS.

The Vietnamese government leader and other delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Vietnamese National Pavilion.

Mr Phuc and Chinese Vice Premier Gaoli visited some pavilions at the expo.

The cabinet leader chaired a roundtable dialogue with CEOs of leading Chinese business in Nanning, the same day.

He held a dialogue with Chinese businesses.

He visited the Nanning Yucai School in Guangxi, China, which trained Vietnamese students and cadres from 1951-1954

He planted a memorial tree at the Bagui Tianyuan high-tech agriculture zone in Guangxi.
