She made the remark regarding a naval ship of the Philippines shooting at a fishing boat from Vietnam’s central province of Phu Yen, killing two fishermen in September.She stressed that: “We demand the Philippines promptly investigate the incident, clarify responsibility and strictly handle persons with violations. It should notify Vietnam of the investigation outcomes soon while having appropriate apologies and compensating fishermen for human and property losses.”Vietnam has also recognised the Philippine side’s cooperation in this issue so far, Hang added.
