Thongloun Sisoulith was elected General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party early this year.

The June 28-29 visit has been made by Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Nguyen Xuan Phuc, State President of Vietnam, according to the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations.
