Passing through the gate, visitors enter a flower museum containing more than 300 species - roses, chrysanthemums, lilies, mimosas, daffodils, and more, notably orchids and thousands of cactuses from Africa.
Natural flowers harmonize with man-made architectural features. Hydrangeas, orchids and roses and many other flowers make this city a kingdom of flowers. Wandering, visitors admire beautiful tulips imported from the Netherlands, peach blossoms from Hanoi, and many ornamental trees in the shapes of animals.
In recent years, Da Lat has become famous for its Flower Festival. Organized for the first time in 2005, the biannual festival now attracts a large number of tourists. In addition to promoting the beauty of Da Lat, the Flower Festival introduces visitors to the city’s floriculture and other local specialties.
