The bunker was built in 1967 during the fierce US air war of destruction against northern Vietnam. |
It is 9m deep and its structure is entirely bomb-proof. Two entrances to the bunker are opposite to Generals Vo Nguyen Giap and Van Tien Dung’s offices in House D67. |
It includes four rooms. |
The largest was used as the meeting room for the Political Bureau and Central Military Commission when necessary. |
Telephone sets and radios are inside other rooms. |
War objects are still kept in the underground bunker. |
