The marble mountains are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth).

The mountains all have cave entrances and tunnels. It is possible to climb to the peaks. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found in these mountains, making this a famous tourist destination.

An elevator has recently been put into operation at the tourist site. The elevator is 43 metres high and can carry 20 passengers at a time at a speed of 1.75 metres per second. A two-way ticket costs VND30,000
