The Da Nang Paragliding Open 2018 is jointly held by Da Nang People’s Committee, Da Nang Department of Culture and Sports and the Da Nang Paragliding Club.
This is part of tourism, sports and art activities for this year’s summer, bringing a new lease of life to the trademark of Da Nang tourism.
The event attracts the participation of nearly 100 local and international paragliders.
The event offers an opportunity for visitors to have a scenic view of Da Nang from above.
Paragliders will take off from Ban Co mountain peak in Son Tra peninsula at the height of 600 metres and land at Man Thai beach on June 23 and 24.
The take-off point in Son Tra peninsula is considered the most beautiful in Vietnam, where paragliders can have a spectacular view of mountain, sea and forests and the beautiful city of Da Nang.
Visitors can also experience paragliding with pilots to enjoy a panoramic view of Da Nang on a special designed program from June 21 to 24.
