Ngoc Thao departs for Thailand on February 28 ahead of competing in the Miss Grand International 2020 pageant. She brings with her luggage weighing 60kg, including eight evening gowns created by designer Linh San, which she will wear during the global beauty contest.
The yellow outfit will help her to stand out whilst on stage.
She anticipates that the yellow design will help her achieve her goals in the pageant, similar to other Vietnamese contestants in the past, such as Phuong Nga and Kieu Loan, both of whom claimed Top 10 finishes in the 2018 and 2019 version, respectively.
An outfit draws inspiration from the pigeon, a symbol of peace and the main theme of the Miss Grand International pageant.
Ngoc Thao is set to don these outfits at different events throughout the beauty contest.
Ngoc Thao, 21, stands at a height of 1.74 metres tall and measures 81-61-95.
The native of Ho Chi Minh City is currently undergoing an isolation period for a total of 14 days in Thailand as part of measures aimed at controlling the potential spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
She claimed the title of second runner-up at the Miss Vietnam 2020 pageant in order to represent the country at Miss Grand International 2020 pageant.
