The hospital has been locked down for contact tracing, chemical disinfection and COVID-19 testing after a doctor was diagnosed with the virus.
At present 50 positive COVID-19 cases have been detected in relation to the hospital.
These cases include patients, their relatives, and healthcare workers.
Many localities also confirm new positive COVID-19 cases related to the outbreak at the hospital.
The National Hospital for Tropical Diseases receives and treats COVID-19 patients from throughout the country. It has treated more than 1,000 COVID-19 cases without a single death.
