Go Vap district of HCM City disinfected after detection of infections

VOV.VN - Military forces thoroughly sprayed disinfectant throughout a number of streets, residential areas, markets, and schools in Go Vap district of Ho Chi Minh City on June 1 following a significant number of COVID-19 cases being found.

Three teams are assigned to disinfect streets, residential areas, markets, and schools in the COVID-19 hotspot of Go Vap district.
Disinfection work is carried out on Nguyen Van Cong street and in Ward 3 of Go Vap district after dozens of COVID-19 cases linked to the Revival Ekklesia Mission, a Protestant congregation based in Ho Chi Minh City, were found.
Dozens of soldiers wearing protective gear are mobilised to the scene in order to carry out the important task.
Locals are also urged to take steps to thoroughly disinfect their homes as part of efforts to curb the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus among the community.
Nguyen Thai Son, Pham Ngu Lao, and Thong Nhat streets are among the key places in Go Vap district where chemicals are sprayed.
Specialised vehicles continue to sanitise residential areas.
Disinfection work starts in alley 415 on Nguyen Van Cong street in Go Vap district, the location where the Revival Ekklesia Mission is based.
Dozens of new positive COVID-19 cases linked to the hotspot have been detected over recent days.
