Approximately 18,000 foreigners from 106 countries and territories globally who are currently residing in District 7 will have the chance to receive an injection to protect themselves from the virus. So far, 50% of them have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
The move represents one part of the southern city’s plan to maintain its ongoing vaccination campaign, which aims to inject 70% of people aged 18 and above with vaccines by the end of August.
Foreigners are required to wear face masks and use hand sanitizer before entering the inoculation site.
All arrivals have their body temperature measured.
Healthcare declarations are also required at the inoculation site.
Foreigners are thoroughly checked and given consultation before receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
The authorities of all districts and Thu Duc city arrange different times for injection in order to limit gatherings and prevent the potential spread of the pandemic.
Each foreigner is given a consultation in order to monitor their health after injection.
