Crowds flock to Hanoi culinary and tourism festival 2021

VOV.VN - A range of fresh culinary and tourism products from Hanoi were introduced to a large number of visitors from April 16 to April 18 during a festival held at King Ly Thai To flower garden in the capital.

200 booths go on display at the event, including 150 booths which aim to introduce new tourism products, destinations, and tours to sightseeing spots nationwide.

The aim of the festival is to announce the country’s latest tourism products moving into the post-novel coronavirus (COVID-19) period. The event  provides an opportunity for travelers to enjoy access to thousands of tourism products which boast significant discounts, including some special offers on tours and hotels between 15% and 35%.
According to a number of local travel agencies, tours are now on offer at reasonable prices with good quality. For example, a Da Nang-Ba Na-Hoi An tour which departs on May 9 and includes a stay in a four-star hotel sees its price reduced by 27%.
The festival also features a well-decorated space in which visitors can snap pictures.
A booth showcases a range of handicraft items originating from Hoa Binh province.
Tours which allow guests to discover caves located in the central province of Quang Binh prove very exciting for crowds at the occasion.
Children are given the chance to produce ceramic items at a booth situated in the Bat Trang ceramic village pavilion.
A booth belonging to budget airlines VietJet Air attracts many visitors who are keen to buy discount air tickets and participate in interesting games.
A booth introduces the unique cuisine made by hotel chefs in Hanoi.
The culinary space proves highly popular among diners.
Throughout the course of the event diners have the chance to sample some outstanding dishes and specialties which originate from the capital, including pho, a type of noodle soup, and egg coffee.
Plenty of local specialties can be found on sale.
The festival concludes on April 18, with the occasion serving to partly stimulate the domestic tourism industry following the containment of the latest COVID-19 outbreak.
