China remained Vietnam’s key fertiliser supplier (accounting for 55% of total import volume) with 1.7 million tons valued at US$421.4 million, down 15.63% in volume and 29.25% in value.

Russia ranked second with 318,700 tons of fertilizers worth US$105.9 million (down 12.99% in volume and 25.23% in value), followed by Indonesia, Canada and others.

In the reviewed period, Vietnam imported fertilizers from 16 countries in the world. Thailand saw the highest growth of 262.35% although imported volume only reached 46,000 tons while Japan witnessed a deepest decline of 39.15%.
