The plant, built at a cost of US$45 million, is one of the largest production factories in the French multinational group’s global supply system of over 200 production centres.Schneider Electric representative Jim Tobojka said the plant is equipped with modern facilities to produce hi-tech electronic products for smart homes in Vietnam and other parts of the world.The plant will help Schneider Electric introduce high-quality ‘Made in Vietnam’ products and solutions to global customers, said Mr Tobojka.The group has been recruiting skilled Vietnamese workers and technicians. The local staff will have a chance to improve their qualifications through in-country, regional and global training courses and work in Schneider Electric subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide.
