The proposal to provide consulting to Vietnam’s Thien Tan Group was submitted for approval on March 3 to Quang Ngai provincial authorities by representatives of the two companies.
“JK&D International has gained a solid reputation over the past 30 years for providing quality expert and technical solutions on infrastructure projects,” said Managing Director Brian G Dennard, in submitting the proposal.
Our specialty he said is working with local authorities in emerging markets to reduce overall risks and ensure that the desired results are obtained and we look forward to working collaboratively on the project.
In 2015, the airport received 154,550 passengers, up 284.5% over 2014. The principal airlines utilizing the airport are Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air and Jetstar Pacific.
The expansion project underway aims to substantially increase airport traffic but has run into recent snags for which additional consultants are being south to assist in working through.
