The four-day exhibition running May 5-8 is part of the Thai government's effort to create business opportunities for companies in both Thailand and Vietnam to bolster trade and investment, organizers said at the opening.

Exhibitors run the gamut from clothing, sneakers and fashion accessories to food and beverages, automobiles and motorbikes as well as a bevy of household and kitchenware items.

Special seminars are planned throughout the event for prospective businesses to meet face-to-face to discuss issues related to education and training, tourism and franchise opportunities in both countries.

This year’s fair, officially titled ‘Top Thai Brands,’ has been organized by Thai Trade Centre in HCM City for the past 14 years.
