The price of E5 RON92 bio-fuel duly went up by VND545 to a maximum of VND26,077 per litre, while that of RON95-III rose by VND547 to be sold at no more than VND26,834 per litre.

Furthermore, the ceiling prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene were subsequently set at no more than VND21,310 and VND19,978 per litre, representing rises of VND509 and VND469 per litre, respectively.

Moreover, the price of mazut 180CST 3.5S inched up by VND536 per kilogram to reach VND18,468 per kilogram.

The two ministries also decided to make use of VND250 per litre from the petrol price stabilization fund for E5 RON92, with VND220 per litre being used for RON95-III. In addition, that of mazut is now VND300 per kilogram, whilst diesel is VND300 per litre.

Both the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance conduct a review and adjust domestic petrol and oil retail prices every 10 days to ensure they are on a par with global market fluctuations.
