Addressing a meeting on August in Hanoi, Binh asked the ministry to take comprehensive measures to alleviate the difficulties facing the people and businesses, and shorten the duration for administrative formalities. 

The Ministry of Finance was urged to modernize and apply information technology, ensure transparency, and enhance the responsibilities of a state agency.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh and the government working team inspected how far administrative reform has gone at the General Department of Taxation and called on it to modernize administrative procedures compatible with international standards.
