The visit is made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong and President Tran Dai Quang.
Both nations established diplomatic ties on January 18, 1950.
China continued to be Vietnam’s top trade partner, while Vietnam is China’s biggest partner in ASEAN and ninth biggest in the world.
