The event, attended by more than 70 members of Campora, an Argentine political youth organization, began with a short documentary on the anti-American war resistance, particularly the consequences left over by this war.

Professor Ezequiel Ramoneda from Sanvador University talked about the global and regional background when the US waged the war as well as its impacts on peace-loving people around the world.

ICAV President Poldi Sosa highlighted the heroic and solidarity examples of Vietnamese people in the past struggles against foreign invaders and current national construction process, experience lessons for young generations and the tremendous socio-economic achievements.

The seminar also discussed the country’s renewal and international integration process and concluded with a short film entitled ‘Vietnam today’ featuring the country’s culture, land and people as well as economic development.
