A total of three beauties are selected from the leading 18 finalists to claim the pageant’s top prizes.
22-year-old Tran Thi Mai is crowned Miss Ha Long 2020.
A native of Quang Ninh province, she states her pride in being named winner of the 24th version of the local beauty contest and promises to make every effort to promote Quang Ninh’s tourism industry to domestic and foreign travelers.
Tran Nhat Le takes the first runner-up spot. The 18 finalists compete in Ao Dai, a traditional long dress, swimsuit, and evening gown segments in the final.
The second runner-up goes to Do Phuong Anh. The final three are picked following the judging panel choosing a Top 10 and then cutting that number down to a Top 5 to participate in the Q&A competition.
The organisers award sub-titles such as Miss Tourism, Miss Ao Dai, and Miss Sea, to the various winners.

The judging panel is made up of journalist Ngo Ba Luc, Nguyen Thu Ha, a representative of Quang Ninh’s administration, designer Anh Thu, Thuy Van, the runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2008, Pham Kim Dung, deputy head of the Miss Vietnam pageant’s organisers, along with director Le Chinh (L-R).
