The Miss World Vietnam beauty pageant will be held for the first time in Vietnam during 2019 in order to choose a representative to compete for the country at the Miss World pageant.
Miss World is one of the globe’s most reputable beauty pageants. Vietnam has a fine history of sending representatives to the contest.
During Miss World 2017 My Linh was named among the Top 40 and came first in the Beauty with a Purpose segment. One year later, Vietnamese representative Tieu Vy was listed in the Top 5 of the Beauty with a Purpose segment and finished in the Top 30 overall.
The first Miss World Vietnam 2019 pageant is being organised by Sen Vang Entertainment Company. The pageant will help select a Vietnamese representative to compete at Miss World 2019.
Pham Kim Dung, head of the Miss World Vietnam organising board, said the winner will compete in Miss World 2019, and the runners-up will represent Vietnam in other international pageants.
