The highlight of the festival was a palanquin procession carrying the saint patron and the holy mother to the village’s communal house.
The procession was led by unicorn dance troupes and a musical band playing the clarinet, two-string violin, drums and cymbals, followed by three village elders cast as the Three Abundances of Happiness, Prosperity and Longevity.
Other activities included chess, wrestling and cock fighting competitions, as well as traditional art performances.
