The event, the second of its kind, drew the participation of over 300 professional and amateur artists and Lao students in the province, who entertained the audience with 34 performances.The performances featured cultural identities of ethnic groups and regions of both countries, and praise their time-honoured and special relations.The organising board presented the first prize to the Culture School 1 under the Ministry of Public Security. Meanwhile, the second prize went to Luong Ngoc Quyen High School, and Thai Nguyen University of Education received the third prize.-
Thai Nguyen hosts Vietnam-Laos friendship singing festival
A singing festival was held in the northern province of Thai Nguyen on September 30 to celebrate the 55th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties and 40 years of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation.
