“The cherry blossom, or sakura in Japanese, is a national symbol of Japan and this festival is a symbol of the on-going friendship between our two countries,” said representatives from the Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in making the announcement.
At the festival, a large number of social and cultural activities are planned and there’ll be plenty of Japanese and Vietnamese culture to enjoy with food, shopping, entertainment, even stuff for the kids.
We’re hoping for a large turnout, said the representatives.
