The second and third prizes went to Philippine and Myanmarese youths.They will be invited to make a presentation at the ASEAN Summit to be held in November in Kuala Lumpur. The contest required competitors to make videos on "What Does the ASEAN Community Mean to Youth."Launched at the beginning of this year with support from the US Mission to ASEAN, the ASEAN Foundation, and Singapore's National Youth Council, it attracted 77 videos made by youths from ASEAN member countries.
Can Tho University wins video contest
A two-minute video titled "The Mekong River Goes Through ASEAN Community" made by Can Tho University's Delta Youth Initiative about the importance of conserving the rich bio-diversity of the river won the first prize in the 2015 ASEAN Youth Video Contest.
