The event aims to strengthen cultural ties within the APEC member economies, thus contributing to building an Asia-Pacific community of peace, stability, dynamic development and prosperity.
A wide range of films from APEC member economies will be screened, including Vietnamese film My Nhan (Beautiful Woman) which will be shown at the opening ceremony.
These films highlight the cultural identities and the beauty of land and people of APEC member economies.
Organizers said they will offer free film screenings for viewers in both Hanoi and Da Nang. Tickets to the screenings will be available on October 8, 2017 at the National Cinema Centre in Hanoi and on October 9 at the Le Do Cinema in Da Nang.
The opening ceremony of the APEC Film Week 2017 is set to transpire at 7pm on October 11 at the National Cinema Centre and on October 12 at Le Do Cinema in Da Nang.
